The magic of Santa is alive and well in the studio.  We will introduce your child to Santa slowly and gently, so they can approach him on their own terms. 

You may use the red winter shawls shown in these pictures make wardrobe selection easy.

Your kids will throw snowballs with Santa, drink a hot chocolate, and Santa will even have a gift for your little one out of his magic bag!


For parents, these sessions mean no mall lines and no crowds.  No watching your child cry when they're thrown unceremoniously onto Santa's lap .  And, you get the perfect picture for your Christmas Card.

Meet Our Santa Claus

So much of the magic of Christmas is wrapped up in the wonder and mystery of Santa Claus.  Our Santa personifies the joy, love, and gentleness we all expect of a storybook Santa.  His long white beard is real, as is his jolly laugh and rosy cheeks.  We were very lucky to book him for these sessions.

Santa has lots of tricks up his sleeve to help uncertain little ones get comfortable.  In the past, he has performed for the City of Independence tree lighting, Powell Gardens, and Children's Mercy.

The full session cost is $300.  A $100 deposit is required to book your session.  The remaining $200 will be due at your session.

  • Where is the session held?
    Our in-home studio is located at 5813 W 155th St, Overland Park, KS 66223
  • What if I want more than 4 images?
    Additional images are available for $40 each. You may also buy your full gallery for $120. Depending how well your little ones interacted with Santa, there will be around 7-10 total images available in your gallery.
  • Can we get a full family picture?
    Yes! This setup is perfect for your family Christmas card picture.
  • What should we wear?
    I recommend solid colored clothes. Avoid busy patterns, text and graphics. Red, white, black, or navy will all photograph well on this set. I have the red over-jackets you see in the photographs are available for your family to use during the session. They fit sizes 4T - 10. I also have lots of gorgeous Christmas gowns and white tuxes! You can dress up in your "Sunday best" or go more casual. We recommend at least one parent come dressed to be in the pictures, just in case one of your children isn't comfortable being in the set without you.
  • When will our images be delivered?
    All Santa galleries will be delivered by Dec 12th. Galleries will be edited in the order they're shot, so the earlier in the day you book, the sooner you'll get your pictures!
  • What if my child is afraid of Santa?
    The 15 minute session is long enough to allow us time to slowly and gently introduce your child to Santa. We have lots of tricks to help encourage kids to interact with Santa, including cookies! If our tricks don't work, we'll ask a parent to come into the scene to hold their child. So please come dressed to be in the photos just in case! For kids who continue to be uncomfortable with Santa, we will take Santa out of the set to get pictures of just your child. We've never had a session where we didn't get a great gallery in the end ::knock on wood::
  • Is the session fee refundable?
    Due to the extremely limited availability and the cost of bringing Santa to the studio, we are unable to offer refunds for these sessions.
  • Can we bring our pet?
    Yes, pets are welcome in our studio!
  • Can our friends or cousins be in our pictures?
    Each session includes immediate family only. However, if two groups book sessions we can schedule them back to back and get pictures together.
  • What ages of kids are these sessions for?
    These sessions are suitable for children of any age. We've had babies as young as 4 months and teenagers attend these sessions.
